


About Guthrie Quist
Guthrie Quist was born in Kalispell Montana. He graduated with honors from Flathead High School as a member of the prestigious "White Letter" club as 12-time letter winner in Academics, Athletics and Choir. As an all-State Football player and a State Champion Sprinter in Track and Field, he still holds the School Record as anchor leg of the 4x100 meter relay team. Guthrie received a Vocal Scholarship to Pepperdine University and later continued his studies at the University of Montana.
Mr. Quist's Political experience includes working as a paid Consultant on several Congressional Campaigns across the Country and as a Fundraiser for the Montana Food Bank. In 2018 he promoted a Ballot Initiative in Flathead County in partnership with Water for Flathead's Future that passed with nearly 70% of the vote. He was encouraged to run for Public office at the urging of legendary English Teacher and long time Department Head, Sue Brown, at her retirement ceremony. He counts John F. Kennedy, Mike Mansfield, Abraham Lincoln and Pericles of Athens among his inspirations.
Guthrie Quist is the Democratic candidate for Senate District 3 in the 2020 Election. He cofounded Quist Montana Properties and resides in the
Flathead with his wife Summer and his son Caspian.
